I've taken personality categorization "tests" where
you first check off all traits (from a huge list) that
YOU believe a company might want in a candidate like
yourself, and then do the same for how YOU view
YOURSELF. It was an eye-opening exam for me, as it
allowed me to compare my thoughts on the ideal
candidate with my own evaluation of myself.
Interesting.

Also, long ago I had applied for a position with a
company that creates such screening tests. I had to
take each one of their main tests. The scores weren't
important though - they wanted me to take their tests
and then comment about how the tests were, in
questioning, comfortability, and so on. I was very
well-recieved and was offered the job, but decided not
to take it.
