We recently posted a position for a junior to intermediate technical
writer, for which we do require a certain level of technical scripting
knowledge, and we received over 100 resumes--many of which were from
senior tech writers with decades of experience, and some of which were
from desperate programmers.
A far cry from last spring, when it took nearly six months to fill a
similar position.
