I think "Brandability" is a word that sounds like someone thinks their writing style is too cute. Drop it. And then add the word to your Lingo Bingo card.

I've written OEM manuals in which our products are incorporated into other products and then the interface is rebranded. I have NEVER.... let me repeat... NEVER found the need to use a word like "brandability". It sounds like the name of a stripper.

In a white paper, you have more artistic license, sure, but I would personally cringe if I saw that in one.

My company provides web-based services to financial institutions and the
Design Specs use "Brandability" to mean the customization requested by the
FI, such as logo, colours, and home link. This is for design specifications,
but I will be writing a white paper on our product fairly soon, where
brandable may or may not be appropriate...

Can anyone think of another, better, less brain-battering term for
brandable/brandability?

Many thanks in advance,
Karen Black
