Why not use Word's doc comparison feature? I tried it out a couple of months ago in a situation where I had forgotten to turn on Track Changes for a document I sent out, and I have to say it works pretty darn well, considering the source.

It's under Tools > Track Changes > Compare Documents. And you already own it.
