I might mention that I do have a document tracking database set up with Web
interface so that engineers can search for the doc they want and hyperlink
to it. This database displays the SME next to the doc they worked on. So,
I'm not sure their name is also required in the actual doc.

As I mentioned to someone offline - it's no skin off my nose. I just
wanted to hear if there was a standard. From what I see, there really
isn't. Thanks so much for sharing what your different departments are
doing. I'm pretty much on my own here - so it's nice to have some folks to
bounce things off of.
