Tom Green asked:

Does anyone know if there is a way to save the graphics in a Word file as JPEG? The method Dick Margulis suggested; "File>Export to>Compact HTML apparently is not included in my Version of Word (Word 2000). Any help will be appreciated as I am converted a LOT of Word files to XML.

You can download the compact HTML export filter from Microsoft. Here's the link:
http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/2000/Msohtmf2.aspx

However, I think the method Dick described will work using the regular Save As HTML, since all you're after is the graphics. Have you tried that on a sample, to see if it works?
