I'm not sure what you're disagreeing with. I don't disagree with anything you say, and don't see how it counters anything I said.

Perhaps you are referring to "sales pizazz" and lumping that in with explaining benefits? If so, I should explain that what I meant by "sales pizazz" is language that is vague,over-promising, or misleading. Often, buzz words and jargon are part of it, but not always.I'm not sure if that's what the original poster had in mind, but that's how I took his comment.

To my way of thinking, benefits are the last part of marketing that should have "sales pizazz." In high-tech, you're dealing with knowledgable people. They're capable of checking your claims, and some of them will. Even worse,some will let the company know, as well as their colleagues. If the benefits you describe are not easily provable or documentable, then you discredit your company.

If that's not what you were referring to, could you elaborate? Thanks!
