This is absolutely true. In a former "incarnation" I was a
residential landscape gardener. Pruning trees and woody shrubs
was my specialty. Much as with writing and editing, the most
important knack in pruning is knowing when to STOP.

Also, in my years in the corporate environment, where the
priorities for deliverables were not my own, I learned that
sometimes "good enough" is indeed good enough ;-}
