Sorry, I was going to add a remark: There are actually several countries where you can go to speak German - Germany (there's only one left now, used to be more), most of Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein, and parts of Italy and Belgium. But Germany itself would probably be the best choice because the people in the other contries tend to speak dialects with non-standard choices of words. You'd have to unlearn somet of it to write documentation.
