Dear Tech Writers,

This is driving me crazy. I am including a large example because it is
driving me so nuts. I find I keep changing my mind, as I write. One thing
looks correct in one place, another thing looks correct in another place. I
blush to think how harshly and arrogantly I used to criticize the poor
newspaper writers who have to turn things out daily!

What should be capitalized in the following sentences:

************************************
Client, client, Job Type, job type, Browse link, Browse list, browse list,
ETC!

Select Search Criteria
Select Client
Click on the Browse link beside the Client field, to select from a list of
all the clients in the database.

Select Job Type
Click on the Browse link to select from a browse list of job types, or enter
the job type directly in the text field.

Select Date (from)
Click on the calendar icon to select the day that begins the period on which
you want to report, or enter the date directly.
For English language, use MM/DD/YYYY format
For Japanese language, use YYYY/MM/DD format.

Select Date (to)
Click on the calendar icon to select the last day of the period on which you
want to report, or enter the date directly. Use the same formats as above
for English or Japanese.

Select Facility
Click on the Browse link to select from a browse list of facilities, or
enter the facility text directly in the text field.

Select Class
Click on the Browse link to select from the class browse list, or enter the
class text directly in the text field.

Select Show: Select the information that you want to show in the report.

The Job Throughput Report shows a bar graph and a table of the data that you
retrieve with your query. The graph shows a bar for each value you select
here, and the table shows a column for each.
****************************
Sincerely

Gen
