STORY: SnagIt attracts attention

After the flight attendant gave the okay, Dan the technical writer turned
on his laptop and got to work.

The woman in the seat next to him was pretending to read, but Dan knew
'Sky Mall' wasn't holding her attention when he saw her watching his
screen out of the corner of her eye.

He was using SnagIt to add screenshots to his documentation. He captured
an icon and placed it into his Word document with no editing required. He
felt the woman move closer to the screen.

He captured a toolbar and pasted it alongside his words. She lowered the
magazine.

When he captured a single toolbar button, she stopped pretending to read
and was compelled to speak.

"What are you using?" she asked.

"I'm using SnagIt," Dan explained. "I'm a technical writer and I use it
to get images to supplement all of my documentation. It's not only
incredibly easy to use, but it's powerful and flexible. It's the leading
screen capture software on the market."

"It seems so useful!" the woman exclaimed.

"Oh, yes," Dan assured her. "I can't imagine how I worked before I had
it."

The woman looked him full in the face and gave him a huge smile. "Would
you mind giving me a demonstration?" she asked.

Dan readily agreed. As she tucked 'Sky Mall' away, Dan thought to
himself, "Please raise your tray tables and put your seats in the upright
position--it's been another successful flight with SnagIt."

ANNOUNCE: How to survive a tight job market...

The key to surviving a layoff--or finding a new position
fast--is to be indispensable. To know how to document things
that others can't. To solve problems that no one else can.

One of these challenges is documenting APIs. This isn't easy,
and it's not for everyone. But it's a highly sought skill
that will bring you respect, good pay and more job security.

And now there's a workbook that reveals how to do it!

"Documenting APIs and SDKs: a guide for non-programmers"
is a best-seller from Gordon & Gordon, based on the popular
workshop we've given since 1998. There's nothing else like it!
Not on the Web, not in the bookstores, and certainly not in
any book written for "Dummies" or "Complete Idiots".

And our Money-Back Guarantee means there's no risk for you.
