Hello Everyone,

I'm building a training coursebook template in FrameMaker that contains the course information along with trainers notes. Our team wants to give the students the coursebook without the trainers notes, and our trainers want their coursebook to include the trainers notes without losing the pagination of how the students see the coursebook. Basically, the two books should be identical in terms of what page course information is found on. What is the best approach to achieving this type of layout?

The trainers notes are set up to be placed only in the side head area. We also use graphics with some of our paragraph tags (tip, note, hazard). Visually the graphic appears in the side head, but actually they are not. If trainers notes happen to be above the paragraph tag (note, tip, or hazard with a graphic), the tag is pushed down and we have a huge gap of white space in the body flow.

Any ideas how to achieve this and/or avoid the white space in the body flow?

Thanks,
Karen Pogue
