In my experience the kind of training that's available isn't any more
comprehensive than what you'd get from working through the whole Classroom
in a Book. To me that kind of training exists to make money for the
trainers - you can get the same information from a $30 book that you'd get
by spending hundreds on training.

Last time I checked, Adobe makes the qualifications for their
certification pretty clear - I'd be surprised if you couldn't pass the
exam based on a decent regimen of study and self instruction. Good luck!
