You know you just gave me the first answer to the question. I should have
asked this question to the interviewer. That would have made my life
easy..

Even I am not sure! A product is also an application. By product, I mean
anything that is loaded into the user's system through a CD. By
application, I mean anything the user accesses through the browser.
Something like an Applcation Service Provider.

Hope I am clear (I am really confused..)
