OT: Re: ID or Id?<Furthermore, "Id" is an actual word, coined by good old Dr. Freud. This is getting somewhat off topic now, but what the heck... The good doctor actually did not create the word (and so had to get his super ego elsewhere ;-), although he did invent the concept. He was a German speaker and so was using the word "es", which means the same as Latin "id" and English "it". "Id" was created by one J. Riviere as a translation of the term, according to Chambers Dictionary of Etymology.
