I can see it now -

News journalist: "And the technical writers have formed a picket line,
protesting the lack of respect and remuneration they receive from their
employers. Every tech writer in the company is on the line - its just a pity
that this company of 250 only employs 1 tech writer. After a life time of
sedentary work, the effort required to run, *really really fast*, across the
entrance way has provoked a mild heart attack in this lone writer, thereby
reducing the effectiveness of the picket line..."
