I'm a tech writer from Italy. I am currently documenting race cars. I get
into the office around 10.00 or so. Actually it's an old villa overlooking
vineyards in tuscany. I find the colours inspiring and it always seems there
is something to be learned from subtle changes of the leaves with their
beginnings so very very small, reaching reaching for the sun, smiling, then
fading quietly away. I work to incorporate these lessons into my writing as
I feel it's really my responsibility to instruct as much as inform my
audience. Lately I've been experimenting with document format and structure
as a reflection of the seasons. People have responded very well so far, I
think it's because Italians are so creative. Around 1.00, I go to lunch with
my coworkers Giovanni, Filippo and Davide (they are distractingly hansome
and very well dressed). After a 3 course meal including delicious red wine,
music and laughter, I take a nice long nap at my quaint and quirky vine
covered home before
returnig to the villa to work for a few more hours. Since moving here I've
nearly forgotten what it means to be stressed, much less busy.
