This looks like an intriguing solution to the problem. I'm wondering if I
can adapt it to our process here. We don't use RoboHelp, but we do use Word
97. The bulk of our docs are heavily autonumbered and we use the Outline
Numbering format. Many of the contributors do not use Autonumbering
(because it is so difficult to tame), and one of my charters has been to
make it work in each situation.
I'll give this a try and see what it yields.
