Hi,
"In photogrammetry "Fudicial marks" are reference marks on each side of an
aerial photograph used in mapping. These marks determine the "principal
point" (center) of the photo. I have also seen the term used in other
applications relative to reference points, including vehicle coordinates."
Also, check out page 4 of http://www.quality-geophysics.com/DGMforUXO.pdf
But haven't come across 'fudical.'
