Are you saying that certain documents are not part of the product life cycle
if one is producing end user documentation? I have written predominately end
user documentation in my career and I have used and produced many documents
that were part of the lifecycle process while producing online help or a
manual for end users.

--------------

No. I'm saying that my only experience is with end-user douments. I have never
been involved with anything else.
