Good point. Diplomacy is the key. There are also other routes that you should be able to take at a company. Formal complaints with HR for instance. But this sort of thing, I'm sure, would quickly escalate into a war.

I hate it when people use their talent as an excuse to be a complete bas***d. I've run into several people like that. It seems like people are more willing to overlook the kind of aggression described in this thread just because someone is talented. :-( I've often wondered why.

One observation about this thread, it seems like it has been mostly women that have reported being challenged by a bully at the work place, and that the bully was a man.
