I've seen this one [a candidate misrepresenting his/her portfolio contents],
too. At least the miscreant had good taste!

I wouldn't confront the person either. Too many issues. In such instances,
the offending person often becomes a legend in his or her own time. They
frequently borrow from a variety of sources, and the tech writing world is
small and close-knit.
