I sometimes wonder if people who write advertising ever actually look
at their material.

For example, there's a car commercial that uses a slogan "go farther",
but the way it's displayed is a letter at a time, beginning with the
left:

g

go

go f

go fa

go far

You see where this leads?

Sheesh.
