OK, now you've done it. I'm seeing images of the green plastic soldiers in Toy Story making their way across the road.

Speaking of bad writing, I get the most practice in editing the marketese that appears on some of our web pages. Unfortunately, I cannot include any of the examples I've re-written, since I usually get a crack at it AFTER the content (often called "verbage") has gone to the translators and "it's going to be too expensive to have it done over."

Is fearr socrú dá dhonacht ná dlí dá fheabhas.
It's better to solve the problem than to improve the law.

Road sign in Wyoming: Game Crossing.

Of course, with my imagination I saw Scrabble, Monopoly, checkers, dominoes,
and many decks of Old Maid cards casually bouncing across the highway.
