JOB: Assesment Test Writers Needed

We have an opportunity to build a long-term relationship
with a national publishing company and earn some extra
money. This publishing company has partnered with Elance
to build a network of professionals who will develop
standardized 3rd - 8th Grade student assessment tests in
reading, writing and mathematics.

We are seeking new test writers through the end of March.
There is no cost to join the program, and you work from home
on your own time. The publishing partner will hire, work
with and pay remotely through Elance Online. Basic
qualifications are (1) a college degree related to English
or Mathematics, and (2) writing aptitude or teaching
experience for children in 3rd - 8th Grade.

process, go to

STORY: SnagIt and Camtasia Studio

Dan the technical writer moved swiftly through the hall, pausing from time
to time to peer into his coworker's cubicles. He was ready to eat lunch,
but wanted someone to go with him.

He peeked into Laura's office and was surprised when she emitted a cry of
joy. Just when he was about to feel flattered, he realized that he didn't
cause her excitement - in fact, she didn't even see him, because she was
fixated on her screen.

Curious, he watched her work. He held his breath as he saw her use SnagIt
- the leading screen capture software - to capture an image of a menu and
paste it into her document. He then saw her open TechSmith's Camtasia
Studio.

Camtasia Studio, he knew, allowed you to record anything that appears on
your screen. You can add audio, edit the existing audio and video, and
produce the movie in a variety of file formats, including Macromedia
Flash.

Dan's mind raced. Laura uses SnagIt AND Camtasia Studio? He watched
quietly as she recorded a video with Camtasia Studio. She even narrated
it as she recorded. When she played the perfect-quality video back, Dan
could hardly contain himself.

"Laura!" he said heartily. "I was just coming by to see if you wanted to
have lunch. However, now that I see that you use SnagIt and Camtasia
Studio, I was wondering if you'd allow me to buy you lunch. I'd love to
talk about how you're using TechSmith's products for your technical
writing needs."

Laura, seemingly undisturbed by Dan's snoopiness, readily accepted. She
teased, "And they say there's no such thing as a free lunch."

"But there are such things as free technical support and free software
updates," Dan said. "When you SNAG all of technology's capabilities,
you're FREE to EVALUATE the STUDIO of the world. So let's FREE ourselves
of this office and CAPTURE some lunch."

Laura gaped. She was clearly in the presence of a master.
