I am considering a proffesion as a technical
communicator and i feel that the best way to succeed
in such a career as this is to major in Engineering
and minor in Philosophy(as a link to the publishing
industry). i am aware of technical writing majors but
i feel that at this time it is somewhat unfeasible for
me to attend the schools at which these programs
exist. i am looking at alternatives that would provide
the skills i seek.
i would like to know how the members of this forum got
into this field and what educational goals you would
reccomend for someone in my position(a freshman in
college).
