Hello techwriters!
I'm a recent graduate of McGill in Computer Science, and I'm seriously
considering becoming a technical writer. My experiences with technical
writing are as a programmer, with software project documentation and as a
technical support person, with case by case documentation. Both jobs were
part time or internship opportunities. I'm currently doing some research
into what being a technical writer is all about, and I'd be interested in
any advice or stories you'd care to share with me, particularly ones about
you starting out. I know this is a kind of e-mail that many of you have
already seen before, but if you don't ask, you won't possibly receive. :)

In the meantime, I'm going to keep reading my 100 messages from the list.
;)

-Sera Hill
