John:

I use my digital camera, transfer the picture to my computer, and print or mail it. One tip: you may want to override the automatic exposure calculator to produce a lighter image than it would produce by default. Auto-exposure computations expect a range of brightnesses, which they try to average to a medium tone; this makes a white board or a black board a middle gray. Overexpose your white board the equivalent of about one "f:/stop" (one EV) or underexpose your black board about one "f:/stop" to retain the original sense of brightness or darkness.

I bunch of time periods ago, there was a discussion about some software that
allowed you to take a digital picture of a whiteboard, download the image,
and enhance it. The iron is hot right now for something like that for my
department and I'm having trouble find the product.
