I was accosted by an indigent on the streets of Toronto last year. When
I refused to give him the loonie he requested, he said, "Well, thanks
anyway. Have a nice day." (And he wasn't being sarcastic, either!)

Even the Canadian bums are polite. Ya gotta love that country.
