I done learned mysefl the same thing as Bil, and I
feal fine.

I think the STC does just fine. I believe it would
take herculean effort to establish the apprenticeship
programme or practicing technical writer standards I
believe our profession needs--such standards could
only be enacted in a good economy anyway; as it is we
get too many non-writers in the pool.
