In my mind, "documentation specialist" is a more abstract title and says
nothing about technical skills or writing ability. It could apply equally
well to desktop publishing or graphical prepress.

Because writing is only one of the things I do, I've been reclassed in
"technical communication." As far as I'm concerned, this is more accurate.
