In between being grateful for my coworkers, one thing I would like to mention: this list has *thousands* of subscribers. Even with the names filed off it might be possible for a lurker out there to identify someone--or him or herself--through these stories.

Maybe that's not a problem, but I am minded of the advice to never write an email that you wouldn't want read by *anyone in the world.* They might see it some day.
