Erika, for illustrations (figures) in procedures and instructions, we do NOT
number them in our documents (took a monumental sales job for me to convince
the style guide committee here ;-).

Sometimes I wonder if we should number them at all or is this one of those
things we do this way because that's what we've always done..........

We can always refer to them by name (and page # in print) or hyperlink in
on-line.

Did anyone try this?
