Both student and trainer guides use a 3/4 - 1/4 page layout, with the course
content in the larger portion (inside of the page) and a lined column in the
smaller portion (on the outside of the page) In the trainer guide, text
boxes containing trainer notes (in a smaller font) are placed in the notes
column - this keeps them from messing up the page layout in any way. In the
student guide, this lined column is great for giving students a place to
make their own notes during the course.

Training materials are developed for the instructor first; when the course
content is complete, the trainer's notes text boxes are stripped out to
create the "duplicate" student material.

Hi there,

I'm writing a series of training workbooks in MS Word, and I've stumbled
across a problem.

I need to include "trainer's notes" in the workbook -- essentially, chunks
of content throughout the document that can be revealed when printing for a
trainer, and hidden when printing for a learner. Here's the kicker -- the
page numbering needs to be the same in both versions.
