Be outgoing.
Be personable.
Be curious but not annoyingly so.

More times than not, you're going to be shaking hands
with recruiters who will have no contact with you
after you schedule your first interview (if you get
that far). Play the happy, smart, outgoing role to get
their attention and keep you in their heads long
enough to write a favorable note on your resume when
you walk off to the next booth.
