Welllll....OK, I can see where people might get that impression.

Seriously, John, I see your point. No matter what program a student is in at
RPI, people who see the diploma think "technical."

But I'd put forth Marguerite Krupp's program at Northeastern as an example
of a highly-respected tech comm program that is not in the engineering
curriculum and is at a school not thought of primarily as an engineering
school.
