I am looking for an instrument that tells me whether candidate has the
potential to become a good Instructional designer. Since there are no ready
made Instructional Designers in India, I am keen to identify potential of
candidates who apply for the job. Plan is to take them and then train them.

Have any of you come across any instrument that identifies this potential?
Any tests available anywhere? any ideas? can any combination of tests be

Giving them a problem to solve does not help much as that needs experience.
What I am looking for is "What kind of people can become good Instructional
Designers". Can anyone help? or suggest where I can get this help.
