Every time I install Acrobat on Windows, I change the default behaviour. IMO, opening a PDF inside a browser window is a poor way to do it. Once you subtract all the space used by the various bars and menus you have very little space left for the PDF. And you don't have easy access to the full set of Acrobat tools.

It's too bad that the default behaviour is the least useful. This gives lots of ammunition to those who don't like PDF.
