I no longer benefit from my association with this book or with Scriptorium (other than Sarah and Co's continuing goodwill), but a second edition has just been released. And to be fair, Alan Pringle (Scriptorium Press's Directing Editor) coauthored the book as well. Take a look at http://www.scriptorium.com/books/techwrite101.html for more information.
