I reject that. That doesn't take experience and ability...it takes a good
thesaurus.
Launch the thesaurus.
Pick a word.
Find it in the thesaurus
Select every possible suggested word.
Take each of those words and select every possible suggested word.
Repeat until the thesaurus is included in your document.

Um, pretty much yeah, John.
As an indexer, it's your job to anticipate the terms by which your reader
might seek information, to include those terms in the index, and optionally
to teach them the terms by which you refer to that information so they can
be more efficient in future visits to the index.
