You would be AMAZED at what unskilled workers will do if they think that by
not doing it, their job would be jeopardized, even if in reality, management
flips if it IS done.

My girlfriend manages a large number of unskilled staff (landscaping, pool
maintenance, HVAC, housekeeping, valets, boiler room, etc.)...she's
CONTINUALLY trying to second guess the extreme of anything she asks them to
do to protect them from hurting themselves.

The manual? You're assuming they can all read...don't make that assumption.
