Michele recounted a phone call from someone who asked a lot of annoying
questions, including:

I guess I don't see why the annoyance. If someone's taking an interest
in your work (even an uninformed, clueless interest), it's a good idea
to be kind and patient with them. That goes double if they appear to
have work for you.
