Hello All -

I'm researching some tools for my company and was interested in your
input.

We are relatively small and are building a technical/sales/etc. library
that we can use to create materials in a few output formats (i.e., Web
pages, hard copy). The content will be created by different team
members, go through the usual editing and approval process, and then be
ready for publishing. We will primarily be using the material to
generate output to support profiles - for example, Customers, Prospects,
Internal, Management, etc.

Since we are small, is a content management tool a good idea? I haven't
used the latest version of FrameMaker, but is that a good publishing
(cheaper) option because of its conditional text options and ability to
link to source materials? Are there other tools (even say RoboHelp with
some kind of add-ons or Acrobat products) that you have used that do a
good job in generating various output types?

Your opinions?? Thanks!
