I usually find it just annoying, not helpful, possibly because the greeting is
usally mispunctuated (missing a comma after "Hello." Makes me wonder about
the professionalism of the rest of the site, as in, "Are they as good with
their business as they are in writing a two-word sentence?" (And I know who I
am most days.) I think it's basically a useless label, but if you are
referring to its utility in letting a person know they've signed in, I really
think there should be other, plainer, and less hokey methods of doing that,
such as taking you to the place you want to be (and I don't mean Tahiti).
