Keep in mind that the verb forms in Russian do not correspond directly to
those of English. You might want to study up on this without taking a
full-fleged Russian language course.

A team effort might help. If you can find two or three Russians who are good in English, then you might be able to schedule occasional sessions
in which a bunch of you get together and resolve some of the particularly
ambiguous passages. This could be a better use of everyone's time than
having you pester the engineers constantly.

The idea is to solve the problem and check with your boss to make sure it's
ok, rather than complaining to him. He's counting on you for solutions,
not qvetching.

For your own mental health, take those breaks. If it's not allowed, then
put down the offending document and pick up another.

I just started a job at a new company in Sept. Some of the engineers
are Russian and they have problems with their English. Ok, no worries,
but my boss has given them instructions to not worry about grammar,
spelling, or anything else because I will fix it. Editing these
documents puts me on the edge of insanity and I have to take a break
nearly every half a page. How can I tactfully handle telling my boss
how I feel?
