ABET/EAC accreditation is multidisciplinary. See

The only part of what you posted that is specific to
EEs was the goals of the IEEE. Other engineering fields
have their own professional orgs that do what IEEE does
for EEs (ASME for mechanical engineers, ASCE for civil
engineers, etc.), but all recognize the ABET/EAC
accreditations and participate in them.
