Insecurity. The cure/treatment? Build experience and
expertise in technology, not just technical writing or
technical writing technologies.

The days of the care-free generic technical writer are
closing. Find the industry that appeals to you and get
yourself emmersed in it. Make professional contacts.
Develop your industry skills and knowledge. Be
proactive and insightful. You need to add value to win
this game.
