Ye gods, somebody who remembers about Maslow's
hierarchy. It may be a little simplistic but it is a
VERY useful tool for figuring out how to motivate
people, deal with morale problems, factor
personalities into job allocation decisions, etc. I
don't know if they still do, but the Army used to
require cadets to study it, and the ideas behind it
were built into leadership courses.
