I've had success incorporating Visio images two ways; either
as referenced OLE imports directly from Visio into FM or by
converting the Visio to GIF, then referencing the GIF into
FM.

You don't say whether the images had the problem before you
incorporated them into FM...did you inspect the image
beforehand to make sure they didn't have those defects?
