Since the software in question is a personnel management
tool, "management concepts" are unavoidably linked to its
use. Foreseeing the potential unintended consequences of
the use of certain phrases in the instructions if they
should become known by the people being managed is as much
a part of documenting "mangement" software as foreseeing
the potential effect of providing technical data that
unnecessarily exposes product IP that should not be widely
disseminated. The client is paying for documentation that
enhances effective product function, use and avoids
undesirable consequences, and the writers producing that
documentation should be aware of the results the formats
they employ may produce. "Know your product/user/
application" is just as important - if not more so - if
the documentation involves people instead of technology.

That much said - are you instructing them on management concepts or how to use software?
